Hello Higher-Minded Humans,
If you’ve been a long-time subscriber, first, thank you for the support, and second, you may have noticed that we haven’t posted as often as we usually do. Unfortunately, our summer was bookended with loss (RIP to Nanny, who not-so-secretly consumed cannabis and once told me that she used “smoke hemp” when she saw my hemp necklace).
It’s a tough time for so many people right now, for so many reasons, and that can make it difficult to create content consistently. But you can expect to hear more about what we’re growing and brewing, as well as learn from other experts on how to create and cultivate other plant-based wonders.
ICYMI:
There is a lot of buzz about mushroom grow boxes, but not a lot about how to harvest and process them. Amy Donohue goes into detail about what to look for and how to maximize Lion’s Mane in this episode of GPPM.
Cannamom, cannaparent, however you want to label it, being a public-facing cannabis-consuming parent on social media can be challenging for various reasons, which we discuss in the latest episode of Your Highness.
Coming up:
A local event for Maryland residents (in Harford County) talking about Pets and Plant Medicine (more information to follow very soon).
Do you love chocolate and roses? Did you know that they are plant medicine? In our next episode of GPPM, you’ll hear from Board-certified and Registered Nurse and Herbalist, Dale Bellisfield about how to incorporate these into your wellness routine.
We have a new addition to our Talking to Kids series, featuring holistic nurse Marissa Fratoni about how to discuss why some kids need THC.
We talk about what “no woke BS” means in the cannabis industry on our next episode of Your Highness podcast.
Spooky season is here, which means JR will be sharing his favorite horror movies and pairing them with plant medicine recs.
Our annual year-end best-of/holiday gift guide is going to be even more epic this year!
Video tutorials about easy ways to grow cannabis at home, make your own salves, and much more!
Until next time, stay high and beautiful. :)
